The JoAnn Group is the owner and developer of a 122-acre tract of land located in Gap, Pennsylvania.
The company was started in 1999 by Jonas and Anne Beiler, the founders of Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels. After the sale of the pretzel business in 2005, the Beiler’s focused on their new company and the construction of The Family Center of Gap . The Family Center is the heart and soul of the property as it houses a multitude of service organizations that serve the Gap and surrounding area. This facility was opened in September 2008 and fulfills the life-long dream of the Beilers to bring together, in one location, a myriad of services and resources to help the family. Below is The JoAnn Group family of companies located in Gap: Houston Run Self Storage - completed in September 2007, this 300-unit facility offers both climate-controlled and standard units at competitive prices. Houston Run Professional Center - completed in Fall 2009, this 52,000 square foot building is home to a family-physician group, physical therapy provider, fitness center, and a urgent care center. Houston Run Community Water System - The JoAnn Group has constructed, owns, and operates it’s own water system licensed by the Public Utility Commission. The Water System is able to provide fire protection and potable water to the entire property. Angela’s Café - a full service restaurant located in The Family Center of Gap.
